Richard submitted this biography previously:

Air Force 52-56. Married Joan Hahn from Doland - St Johns Nursing graduate. Four children. Graduated Huron College 1960. Taught one year at Huron High School and went to work for Social Security in 1961. Transferred to Des Moines in 1965 and went into business for ourselves in 1967. Still own one of our businesses, but spend more time goofing off today than working.

Our boys both live in the Twin Cities, oldest daughter lives in Sacramento and youngest in Ames, IA. All are married to great spouses. We have six grandchildren. Joan and I both play golf most everyday and play in a lot of couples tournaments, leagues etc. We also travel quite a bit. Have been all over the U.S. and overseas a few times. Life has been good to us.
